Working with natural light, she takes the photos with black and white film, then works with contact sheets to help determine the best photos to meet your needs.  Many of her customers enjoy the black and whites so much that they get a combination of black & white and handcolored photos.  For a truly classic look, consider adding a sepia-tone to a special black and white.  This rich pale brown tint never goes out of style.

Handcolored originals are available in sizes 8"x10" up to 16"x20".  The most common size is 11"x14".  The handcolored original photo is yours to keep. 

If you are planning ahead for a special event, please allow a little extra time so that you can review the contact sheets and make a good selection.  Handcoloring takes time, so schedule your portrait shoot well in advance.  The holidays are a great time to send something really special to friends and loved ones, so think about putting keepsake wallet-sized photos in your holiday greeting cards.
